Peacefully at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, on January 2nd, 2022, at the age of 80 years, Jonathan Lace.

Survived by his sister Ruth and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his parents John Lace and Nellie Marcot, his brothers Jack and Donald, as well as his sisters Nellie and Katie.

Jonathan lived in Foster, Quebec where he was well known. A man of few words who spoke softly. His love of animals, especially horses provided much joy in his life. Annual visits to Big Brome Fair was always an event he enjoyed. Because of health problems, Jonathan entered the care of Knowlbanks and later Exlcelsoins.

Special thanks to all the staff and nurses and his long-term physician Dr. Adrian Macek, for their compassionate care and support.

Cremation took place at the crematorium Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date, at the Hillside cemetery in West Bolton.
