Rosella Dugas
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Rosella Dugas on March 18th, 2024, at the age of 92 at Courville nursing home in Waterloo, Quebec. She was predeceased by her son Norman Nadeau and many of her sisters and brothers.
She leaves behind her life partner and best friend of 42 Years, Wayne McDonald, her two sisters Jannette and Roberta. Also, her children, Diahann (Gerry), Jean-Paul (Nancy), and Charles. Her Grandchildren Kayla, Travis, Cole (Melissa), Robert (Tamara), Brianna (Max), Jacob (Meghan). Her Great grandchildren Taniqa, Lee, Talyn, Memphis, Savanna, Brayden, Aubrey, Theodor, Jacob, Alivia and Gavin.
Mom’s enjoyments included traveling to New-Brunswick to enjoy lobster with her sisters and brothers whenever she could. Kayla would come to visit in Waterloo and make many meals, fill her freezer and loved to play dominos with her. She also enjoyed spending time out west and down south in Myrtle Beach. Mom loved to have good laughs and lots of fun. She enjoyed the little pleasures in life especially with Wayne on Sundays having her meal from Au P’tit Poulet.
Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium.
Services will be held on June 8, 2024, 11 a.m. at Bessette Funeral home, 997, rue des Colombes, Granby, (Quebec). There will be a Video link available and the service will be held in the chapel. Following the service there will be a procession to Saint-Bernardin Waterloo Cemetery for the burial.
