On June 22nd, 2025, at the age of 43, passed away Mrs. Melissa Winters from Lawrenceville. She was the daughter of Mrs. Maureen Reil and Mr. Serge Winters.

She also leaves to mourn her sister Jennifer Gagnon-Reil (Richard Garwood), her nephew Lennox Garwood, her partner Pierre-Luc Fontaine, and other family and friends.

Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium.

The family will receive condolences at LES RÉSIDENCES ET JARDINS FUNÉRAIRES BESSETTE DE GRANBY, Saturday August 9th, 2025, from 9 a.m., followed by the celebration of her life at 11 a.m. in the chapel. The burial will be held at the Ste-Anne-de-la-Rochelle cemetery at a later date.
