Marie-Cécile Brasseur
Peacefully at home in her sleep on October 8th, 2025, at the age of 77, passed away Mrs. Marie-Cécile Brasseur, wife of Mr. Ronald Fisk.
She leaves grieving her husband, Ronald Fisk, her daughter: Josée, her grandsons: Vital and Laurier, as well as an extended circle of loving family members and friends.
Generous with her energy, Marie-Cécile was a pillar of the community. She initiated a myriad of projects on the “rang des anglais” ranging from heritage conservation to church classical concerts, from cemetery bees to Easter egg-hunts. A professional translator, she had a brilliant way with words, but her talents also extended to music, gardening and event planning. For decades, she created magical moments for all to enjoy. She will be remembered for her finesse, vitality and warmth and be sorely missed.
Her life celebration will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday November 15 at the Anglican Church of St-Paul d’Abbotsford (165, rang de la Montagne). A reception will follow at Fisk Hall (185 rang de la Montagne).
In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make a donation in her name to Doctors without borders.
