Robert Whitney, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2026, at the Brome-Missisquoi-

Perkins Hospital in Cowansville. He was from Abbotsford, Qc, and was a long-time resident of

Granby.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Erica Sparling Whitney, his parents, Carlisle Whitney and Edra

McLellan-Whitney. Joan Whitney Hall (late James Hall) his sister, and June Sparling, his sister in-

law, also pre-deceased Robert. He leaves behind his four nephews, his godson, other relatives

and friends.

We would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Bedford CHSLD and the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins

Hospital for their compassionate care.

There will be a simple graveside burial at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Abbotsford

on September 17th.
