It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved uncle Aylmer Byron McGovern at the age of 90 on November 28th, 2022, at the CHSLD Farnham. Youngest son of the late Henry McGovern and Lila Turner.

Predeceased by brothers and sisters Oral (Hazel), Earl, Iris, Gerald (Grace), Alden (Fleurette), Stanley (Ruby), Aubrey (Monique), Rita, Irene, Lorne (Rachel), Maud, Michael (Louise), Leon.

Survived by sisters-in-law Helen McGovern and Margaret McGovern as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

Thanks to all the staff of the CHSLD Farnham for their care and compassion given to Aylmer.

A special thank you to Dr. Normand Chagnon for the many years of care.

Cremation was held at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium.

The family will receive condolences at LES RÉSIDENCES ET JARDINS FUNÉRAIRES BESSETTE DE WATERLOO, Friday January 20th, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Then the day of the service Saturday January 21st, 2023, starting at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by the funeral at 2:30 p.m. at St-François Xavier Church in Bromont.
